Cineclube Pupilo holds a film screening at Praça Adolfo Konder for Children’s Month

The screening of Brazilian short films will be on Friday, October 25, at 7 pm

After holding screenings at FECACI and Nuperajo, Cineclube Pupilo closes a film circuit in the city celebrating Children’s Month with Brazilian short films dedicated to children.

Since 2021, Pupilo has been energizing the region’s cultural program with film production, training and distribution. In addition to running festivals and being a film streaming platform (play.pupilo.tv.br) dedicated to schools, it has the film club as a specific space created to screen films of different genres, documentaries, animations, series, fiction and films produced in schools. It has already held more than 30 screenings in this period and now, in recent months, holds screenings in public spaces of the city of Joaçaba, promoting free cinema.

In October, the screening that closes the exhibition circuit and celebrates Children’s Month will take place on Friday night, October 25, at 7 pm, at Praça Adolfo Konder. An event open to all ages that can be enjoyed as a family. There are 4 short films dealing with subjects such as community life, the use of cell phones and technology, reading, legends and tales and folk stories from Santa Catarina. The selection features productions from São Paulo, Goiás, Espírito Santo and Santa Catarina  with the film “Olha a bruxaria”, directed by Andre Luiz, born in Herval d’Oeste. The set of films is rated for all ages and aims to connect children, teenagers, young people, adults and the elderly to discuss its themes and stimulate the imagination.
