Diz Aí Border Youth

In this session we will watch the films produced during the workshops of the Canal Futura series Diz Aí Fronteiras II, held with more than 100 young people from the borders of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. Diz Aí Fronteiras – Making of (2020, 16 minutes). 

The audiovisual series Diz Aí Fronteiras presents the worldviews of young people from the triple border (Foz do Iguaçu-BR, Ciudad del Este-PY and Puerto Iguazú-AR) on the cultural identities and social problems experienced by youth in these border regions. The themes and characters addressed were discovered during Audiovisual Training and Leadership Training workshops, which involved around two hundred young people from these cities. Divided into five episodes, the series brings the voice and the gesture, the song and the dance, the dreams and challenges in the lives of young people from the Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina border, whom maps and their imaginary lines are unable to separate.
