A fiction short that moves between coming-of-age and horror, born in inland Santa Catarina. Developed with script advising by Pablo Arellano and consulting by Aly Muritiba, its screenplay was a semifinalist in the ROTA 2023 contest. An ambitious genre fiction, now in post-production.
About the project
The Curse of Cari moves between coming-of-age and horror. With development funded by the Chapecó Languages Grant, the project had script advising by Pablo Arellano and general consulting by filmmaker Aly Muritiba, and its screenplay was a semifinalist in the ROTA 2023 contest — the marks of an ambitious genre fiction born in inland Santa Catarina.
