Pupilo Film Club
Since 2021, the Pupilo Film Club has brought Brazilian cinema to schools and communities across SC, PR and RS: more than 30 sessions with national shorts about the environment, Indigenous cultures, youth and history, always followed by debate and mediation. In 2024 it reached Trindade do Sul (RS) and Pato Branco (PR).

About the project
Since 2021, the Pupilo Film Club has brought Brazilian cinema into schools and communities. There have already been more than 30 in-person sessions across Santa Catarina, Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul, with national shorts that open conversations about the environment, Indigenous culture, youth, literature and history — always followed by debate and mediation.
In 2024 the project expanded to Trindade do Sul (RS) and Pato Branco (PR), with monthly sessions of children’s cinema and intergenerational gatherings. More than screening films, the Film Club shapes ways of seeing: it brings students and educators closer to national audiovisual and strengthens cinema as a collective and pedagogical experience.
