Applications open for practical cultural project workshop: turning ideas into reality

Free training in cultural management provides tools to boost artistic projects at Casa da Cultura Rogério Sganzerla.

The Rachadura Visual collective and Casa da Cultura Rogério Sganzerla  present an opportunity for artists and culture enthusiasts to take part in a Practical Cultural Project Workshop. Made up of 6 meetings of 2 hours each, the workshop, taught by cultural producer Rudolfo Auffinger, will provide an immersion in cultural project management, ranging from the initial presentation to advanced pitching techniques.

Training in cultural project management plays a crucial role in preparing professionals to take advantage of the vast opportunities offered by the dynamic Brazilian cultural market. With the enactment of the Paulo Gustavo Law and the Aldir Blanc Law, the country’s cultural scene gained a significant injection of resources and government support, stimulating artistic production and the realization of innovative projects. A deep understanding of cultural project management becomes fundamental so that individuals and organizations can maximize the impact of these laws, efficiently directing investments and ensuring the flourishing of initiatives that enrich Brazil’s cultural diversity.

This initiative, which arises as a counterpart of the Paulo Gustavo Law of the Municipality of Joaçaba and the LPG-D+ SC Call of the Santa Catarina Cultural Foundation, stands out as an opportunity for those who wish to develop their ideas in cultural areas such as audiovisual, theater, visual arts, music, among others. No prior experience is required to take part; you just need a project idea to work on during the workshop.  The workshop will take place on Thursdays, from 7 pm to 9 pm, on March 14, 21 and 28, and April 4, 11 and 18. The total workload is 24 hours, with certificates issued to participants who attend at least 70% of the activities.

Applications are open from February 6 to March 6, through the Google Form available on the website: https://rachaduravisual.com.br/oficina-pratica-de-projeto-cultural/ . The  result will be announced on March 8, 2024, on the same website. Places are limited to 15 participants.
